Virtual Academy

Our MMC Academy Institute Director Pamela Miller recognizes how much you value educational and professional development opportunities. So, while she is saddened that she cannot join you in person this September, she is happy to announce a special short-term virtual offering as a replacement for the September Academy. These sessions will be in the unique interactive format you’ve come to expect from the Academy.

CA Master Municipal Clerk and Clerk of the Board Institute Leadership Series. Six (6) different sessions, all geared toward those of you working to earn your Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) credential. These are not sessions for those working towards CMC accreditation.

You can register for one or all six, the choice is yours. The cost is $100 per session. Each session is four-hours in total, broken up into two consecutive days and is approved by IIMC for 2 MMC/CMC points. You must be able to attend both portions of the session, fully participate, and complete the learning assessment in order to receive a certificate of completion.

Each session requires its own registration and has its own cutoff date. Please note there is limited availability in each session and confirmation is done on a first-registered, first-paid basis. Priority will be given to California clerks working on their MMC. Once the session is full, a wait list will be created. Sessions may be repeated if demand is high.

These sessions will be conducted using Zoom software. These will be interactive sessions so participants will be required to have their camera on and be seen for the entire 4-hour session and you must be in a location that allows for full participation. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
