This 9 hour session is spread over 3 days during the mornings of February 10, 17, and 24. Attendance all three mornings and participation in a one-hour small group exercise during the week between the 2nd and 3rd class is required to receive credit. Zoom video ability and a location free from distraction or interruption is required.
#107: Clerk's Role in Emergency / Crisis Management
TTC #107 is a required session in Series 100 of Technical Training for Clerks Program. It explores the unique challenges and stresses agencies and individuals experience in disaster and emergency situations including those created by our current health and social environment. Topics include personal and professional role, responsibilities and legal obligations of clerks in emergency preparation and response; current community, organizational and disaster planning and attitudes; first responder and chain of command roles; control of sensitive documents and organizational seal; identification of best practices; community education; evaluation of personal commitment and creation of professional and personal action plans.
